One Day Customer Event

An annual Customer event to bring together Customers (current and prospects) and partners of BMC to update them on solutions, IT innovation, share knowledge and best practices.

Customers and Partners of BMC Software attend the annual event held in the UK. The event consists of a morning plenary session with panel discussions and leading industry speakers, five breakout sessions throughout the afternoon, a Partner Pavillion exhibition area for networking opportunities and a catering area. The day closes with a drinks reception with entertainment and more networking opportunities.

My confidence in ZiaBia grows year on year and I am always pleasantly surprised by how much benefit they bring to this event. Scope

ZiaBia worked closely with BMC Software during the pre-event process. The role has grown year on year, over the last five years. This year the role included coordinating with Twickenham for the conference, executive meetings, drinks reception and executive dinner. In addition to this ZiaBia managed additional suppliers for transport, accommodation, entertainment and production. Planning started early in the year by contacting the venue.

Once site inspections had taken place, we liaised with suppliers on the finances, logistics and details, ensuring no element was missed in preparation of the event. We managed the negotiation and contract process and provided full budget management and bill handling. ZiaBia also managed the event on-site, handling the registration, coordination of all food and beverage, movement of delegates, room set ups, management of the Partner Pavillion set up - deliveries and collections and management of transportation.

Result

This year's BMC Exchange was bigger and better than before, with a growth in attendance of both customers and partners. The challenge was to create a new twist using the same venue, this was achieved by using a different space for the drinks reception and by creating a pitch side experience. This allowed guests to have a unique view of the stadium. The event was delivered by ZiaBia within the agreed budget, with excellent client and delegate feedback.
