Our previous event for Elavon back in November 2016 would take some topping. After all, how do you go one better than securing Westminster Abbey for a client and their customers?!

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly

The brief for the event in 2017 was slightly different though. Instead of being over two days, Elavon required a 1 day event with up to 100 attendees. The style of the event was also to be informative and educational, discussing what is new within the Payments Industry, also for networking.

On the day of the event, Debbie and Vicky fully managed the relationship with the venue regarding all set up and other logistical aspects. They also played the important part of meeting and greeting guests and making them feel at home at Bafta 195 for the day. The event went seamlessly and I would not hesitate to recommend ZiaBia.

The Brief

We still wanted to deliver the wow factor for this event by finding the perfect venue and this was confirmed as BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, which is located in the heart of the West End. Yes, it was BAFTA, as in that BAFTA, the British Academy of Film Television Arts!

195 Piccadilly has been the home of BAFTA since the early 1970's. The venue has premiered films, hosted the biggest stars in the film, television and games industries and has served as a meeting point for industry creatives. It is also used as a venue for private hire which is where ZiaBia took over the reins for this one-day event.

Working with ZiaBia on this event ensured that all aspects in relation to the venue find, production, external speakers, food and entertainment were given full and due consideration and planned and budgeted for properly in advance. Starting six months in advance, ZiaBia assisted me in planning key project milestone dates and freed up my time to allow me to concentrate on working with my internal colleagues to set the agenda content and ensure we invited the right customers, staff and guests to the event. ZiaBia helped me to keep the whole project on track, ensuring nothing was missed and liaised with the venue and design agency as appropriate on our behalf.
